Jobs are the primary way to earn money on Prosperity SMP. The server runs six careers through the Jobs Reborn plugin, each paying wages for specific in-game actions. Players can hold one job at a time and switch freely with a 60-second cooldown.

Available jobs

Job Pays for Starting wage Key unlocks
Miner Breaking stone, ores, deepslate ~$0.035/block Drills (L15/L30/L45), Master Smith (L35+)
Farmer Harvesting crops ~$0.030/block Harvesters (L15/L30/L45)
Builder Placing blocks ~$0.015/block Civic contracts (primary income)
Woodcutter Chopping logs ~$0.025/block Tree-felling upgrades
Hunter Killing hostile mobs ~$0.50/kill Dungeon access, combat gear
Fisherman Catching fish ~$0.30/catch Rod enchants, rare-fish perks

Wages increase by 1% per level, up to +50% at level 50. Real income also includes item drops, Admin shop sales, contracts, and stipends.

How jobs work

  1. Run /jobs browse to see available jobs.
  2. Click a job to join it, or run /jobs join <name>.
  3. Perform the job's qualifying actions to earn wages and XP.
  4. Level up to unlock new perks, titles, and equipment.
  5. At level 50, you can prestige to reset and earn permanent bonuses.

Leveling

Each level requires a fixed amount of XP. The curve is near-linear — level 50 takes approximately 50 hours of active work. Every job uses the same XP formula.

Milestone Approximate time
Level 10 2–3 hours
Level 20 7–10 hours
Level 30 18–25 hours
Level 40 32–40 hours
Level 50 ~50 hours

Titles

Every 10 levels unlocks a new chat title that displays in chat and the tab list. Each job has its own title progression.

Level Example title (Miner)
1 Stonehand
10 Cavehand
20 Chartered Miner
30 Deepworks Operator
40 Master Prospector
50 Titan of the Deep

Prestige titles (Reborn, Twice-Forged, Thrice-Forged, Mythic, Eternal) outrank regular titles.

Prestige

At level 50, a player can prestige by running /prestige <job>. Prestiging resets the job to level 1 but grants permanent bonuses.

Tier Cost Title Bonuses
P1 5,000 + materials Reborn +5% income, +10% XP, prestige tool + crate
P2 5,000 + materials Twice-Forged +10% income, +20% XP, Master Smith T2 books

P4 00,000 + materials Mythic +20% income, +40% XP, Master Smith T3 books
P5 ,000,000 + materials Eternal +25% income, +50% XP, P5 trophy + title
