CoreProtect

CoreProtect is the block logging and rollback plugin on Prosperity SMP. It records every block placement, break, chest access, and interaction on the server. Players can use the inspect tool to check who modified a block.

Inspecting blocks

To check who placed or broke a block:

1. Run /co inspect (or /co i) to toggle the inspector.
2. Left-click or right-click any block.
3. CoreProtect shows who placed it, who broke it, and when.
4. Run /co inspect again to turn off the inspector.

What it tracks

CoreProtect logs:

• Block placements and breaks (who, when, what)
• Chest access (who opened, what was taken or added)
• Sign edits
• Entity kills
• Liquid flow and explosions

Reporting grief

If you suspect grief or theft:

1. Use /co inspect to check the affected blocks.
2. Note the player name and timestamp shown.
3. Report to staff on Discord with the information.

Staff can use CoreProtect to roll back damage to a specific time.

Limitations

• Players can only inspect blocks — rollbacks are staff-only.
• Very old data may be purged to save disk space (retention is typically 30+ days).
