Server rules

These server rules apply to all players on Prosperity SMP. Violations are handled through warnings, mutes, or bans depending on severity.

General conduct

1. Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, or targeted toxicity in chat, signs, builds, or Discord.
2. No cheating. Hacked clients, x-ray, fly hacks, speed hacks, duplication glitches, and exploit abuse are prohibited. Allowed mods include Optifine, shaders, minimaps without entity radar, and inventory sorters.
3. No griefing. Do not destroy, modify, or steal from other players without permission.
4. No spam. Excessive chat messages, advertisements for other servers, or command abuse are prohibited.
5. No AFK farming. Automated income through AFK machines, auto-clickers, or macros is not allowed.

Economy rules

1. No real-money trading. Server items and currency may not be traded for real money.
2. No scamming. Honor trade agreements. Fraudulent shops and bait-and-switch pricing are prohibited.
3. No market manipulation. Price fixing, wash trading between alts, and artificial inflation schemes are prohibited.

Building rules

1. Build only on your own plots. See Real estate for land acquisition and Zoning regulations for building restrictions.
2. No offensive builds. Hate symbols, explicit content, or targeted harassment structures are removed without warning.
3. Follow zoning rules. Each plot type has restrictions. See Zoning regulations.

Enforcement

Staff investigate reports using CoreProtect logs. Punishments scale with severity:

Offense	Typical action
Minor chat violation	Warning or mute
Griefing (first, small)	Rollback + warning
Griefing (repeated or large)	Temporary or permanent ban
Hacking or exploiting	Permanent ban
Scamming	Refund + temporary ban

Decisions may be appealed on Discord.
