The Miner is one of six jobs on Prosperity SMP. Miners earn wages by breaking stone, ores, and deepslate in the resource world. Higher levels unlock drills (3x3 AOE mining tools), Master Smith enchant upgrades, and access to the prestige system.

Joining

Run /jobs join miner or select Miner from /jobs browse.

Pay rates

Miners earn per block broken. Wages increase by 1% per level (up to +50% at level 50).

Base wages for all jobs were raised by 25 percent on 2026-06-10.

Income also comes from selling materials at the Admin shop or player shops, and from civic contracts.

The Master Smith is an upgrade station at the Job Center offering elevated enchant levels.

Prestige tools

Each prestige tier grants a named prestige pickaxe (Efficiency V, Fortune III, Unbreaking V on netherite). The name and color change per tier but base enchants are the same. Stat progression comes from Master Smith books.
