Plots on Prosperity SMP are managed by the AdvancedRegionMarket (ARM) plugin. Everything below is self-service — you do not need staff to buy, sell, transfer or share a plot.

Finding plots

Available plots display a sign showing the plot ID (e.g., R001), the price, and the plot's dimensions. Available plots read For Sale in green.

Run /arm regionfinder to browse everything currently available without walking the city.

Buying a plot

Residential plots are bought outright — one payment, yours to keep, no recurring rent.

  1. Find a plot sign reading For Sale.
  2. Right-click it to buy. The price comes out of your balance immediately.
  3. The sign updates to show your name. You can build straight away.

See Real estate for the price tiers.

Renting

Some properties (market stalls, apartments, indoor shops) are rented rather than bought.

  1. Right-click the sign to rent it.
  2. Rent auto-renews while you have the balance to cover it.
  3. Each rental has a maximum extension time.

If rent goes unpaid the property returns to available status.

Owning, selling and transferring

Once a plot is yours, you manage it entirely yourself.

Command What it does
/arm offer <player> <region> <price> Offer your plot to another player at a price you choose
/arm offer accept Accept an offer someone made to you
/arm offer reject Decline an offer
/arm offer cancel Withdraw an offer you made
/arm sellback <region> Sell the plot back to the server for 50% of what you paid
/arm addmember <region> <player> Let someone build on your plot
/arm removemember <region> <player> Remove their build access
/arm gui All your plots in one menu
/arm info Details for the plot you are standing on
/arm listregions Every region you own or rent
/arm limit How many plots you are allowed to hold

Selling to another player gets you whatever price the two of you agree — usually far more than selling back to the server. Offers expire after 30 seconds, so have the other player ready before you send one.

To gift a plot, offer it at a price of 1.

Selling back to the server always returns exactly 50% of the purchase price. It is the guaranteed exit if you cannot find a buyer, but you will normally do better selling to a player.

Plot rules

  • Build only within your boundaries.
  • Follow Zoning regulations for your plot type.
  • Purchased residential plots are not reclaimed for inactivity — once bought, the plot stays yours until you sell it.
  • Rented properties may be reclaimed after extended inactivity plus missed rent.
  • If a rental expires or is reclaimed, items in your containers are captured automatically — run /claimitems to recover them.

Sharing chest access

/arm addmember grants build rights on the plot. To share access to locked chests specifically, see BOLT.
